Opposition Leader Bernard Grech says PM is “panicking”

During a press conference on Tuesday, Opposition Leader Bernard Grech said that Prime Minister Robert Abela is “panicking” as the magisterial inquiry into the Vitals hospital deal turns up the heat on the government.

Bernard Grech was scathing in his attack on the Prime Minister, saying that “none of those facing criminal charges should occupy a public post.”

Newspapers and on-line media are reporting that former prime minister Joseph Muscat along with a large number of others are facing corruption and bribery charges. How that information, from an inquiry report that was delivered to the Attorney General and has not yet been made public, has not yet been established.
