Prime Minister Robert Abela told the COP26 summit that if everyone works together the climate challenge can be overcome.
Speaking on the second and final day of world leaders at the summit he announced that Malta would be doubling its contribution to the Green Climate fund.
He told the world leaders gathered at the summit that the challenge is a major one and cannot be ignored and therefore this is a one-off opportunity.
COP26, he said, is turning point for mankind.
