The National Literacy Strategy is launched for public consultation

“This strategy, which is addressed to all in Malta and Gozo, has been designed with the aim of boosting the literacy of all children, young people and families in Malta and Gozo. A strategy that talks about the basic skills and key competences that every person needs to succeed in education and the world of work, ”explained Education Minister Justyne Caruana, as she launched the National Employment Strategy. Literacy 2021-2030 for public consultation.

This is another document from a series of strategies through which the Ministry is updating the education field. Minister Caruana said that this is being done because our country recognizes education as one of the main pillars on which our economy is built for the coming years, and therefore, as Minister responsible for education, it is committed to its commitment to giving students, even prospective ones, a range of opportunities in developing their values, skills and attitudes.
