Liverpool reached the quarter finals of Champions League after beating Red Bull Leipzig 2-0 in the second leg of their last 16 tie.

Already leading 2-0 from the first leg Liverpool were rarely troubled by the German club and although Salah and Mane sealed the win with second half goals, manager Jurgen Klopp had to watch Liverpool squander numerous chances to wrap up the tie.

Into the last eight but Klopp will be hoping his mis-firing hitmen can rekindle their goal-scoring prowess.

PSG booked their quarter final place with a 5-2 aggregrate win over Barcelona.

Trailing 4-1 from the first leg, Messi gave Barca hope with a thunderous drive after Mbappe put PSG in front. Messi then saw a penalty saved as PSG saw out the tie to move into the last eight of the competition.

Europa League ties take centre stage tonight with Manchester United against AC Milan in their last-16 first-leg tie.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjar will be without Marcus Rashford who picked up a knock in their 2-0 win against Manchester City.

Among tonight’s other ties, Tottenham Hotspur are home to Dinamo Zagreb, Arsenal are away to Olympiakos, Rangers travel to Slavia Prague and Roma host Shakhtar Donetsk
