Manchester City beat rivals and neighbours Manchester United 2-0 to reach the final of the Carabao Cup where they will meet Tottenham Hotspur.
It is City’s fourth final in four years and the manner of their dominance over their neighbours will have sounded alarm bells among their premier title contenders.
