Four people were taken to Mater Dei Hospital after they were involved in a traffic accident in Triq ir-Rabat, Ħad-Dingli.
Police say that a Volkswagen Polo driven by a 48-year-old woman resident of Victoria, and a Ford Transit, driven by a 33-year-old man from Gzira.
In the Polo there was also a 25-year-old woman resident of Dingli and a one-year-old girl.
Medical team and members of the Civil Protection were asked to assist on the spot.
The 48-year-old woman was later certified to have suffered serious injuries while the three
others suffered minor injuries.
District Police investigations are ongoing.
