Prime Minister Boris Johnson travelled to Brussels for dinner with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in an attempt to reach agreement on Brexit but both said later that major differences remained.
Talks between the chief negotiators are continuing although Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab has said that it is unlikely that negotiations would continue beyond Sunday.
