Libya’s Deputy PM and Foreign Minister in Malta for high level talks

New Libyan Prime Minister Ahmed Maiteg meets with his ministers for the first time, on June 2 in Tripoli. A week later, he was out of office.

Libya’s deputy Prime Minister Ahmed Mateegh and Foreign Affairs Minister Mohammed Siyala is reported  to have arrived in Malta for talks with Foreign Affairs Minister Evarist Bartolo.

This comes in the wake of a cease-fire agreement between President Fayez Sarraj on Tripoli side and Tobruk Parliament Speaker Aguila Saleh.

The ministers are also expected to meet with President George Vella.
