Earlier in the afternoon, the AFM’s Rescue Coordination Centre launched an Alouette helicopter and the Melita II SAR boat to aid an elderly woman in Comino.
The woman was transferred from Comino to Gozo General Hospital by the AFM helicopter for further medical treatment.
