Malta has inaugurated what has been described as the country’s first indoor golf simulator, providing players with a new facility where they can practise the sport in an indoor environment.
The simulator uses technology to recreate different golfing conditions and allows users to practise various aspects of the game without having to be on a traditional golf course.
The initiative is aimed at making golf more accessible while providing both experienced players and newcomers with another opportunity to practise and develop their skills.
The project was highlighted by the Ministry for Education and Sport as part of efforts to broaden the range of sporting opportunities available in Malta.
The facility is also expected to provide an additional tool for training and encouraging greater participation in the sport.
The introduction of the simulator represents another addition to Malta’s sporting infrastructure as authorities continue promoting participation across a wider variety of sporting disciplines.
