Three men have been arrested in connection with a series of snatch and grab jewellery thefts reported at entertainment venues in Ta’ Qali during the night of 28–29 August.
The stolen jewellery was valued at over €17,000.
Following investigations, including CCTV analysis and surveillance, Police identified and arrested the three suspects at a residence in Birżebbuġa, where some of the reported stolen necklaces were also recovered.
The men are expected to be arraigned in court shortly.
