Two separate faults affecting 33kV underground cables have resulted in electricity supply interruptions in a number of areas across Gozo.
Enemalta’s technical teams are carrying out fault-location works to identify the exact points of the underground faults and proceed with the necessary repairs as quickly as possible.
Additional engineers and technicians from Malta are being deployed to Gozo. To support the restoration of supply and minimise disruption to affected customers, generators will be utilised.
Enemalta reassures its customers that all available resources are being mobilised to restore electricity supply in the shortest possible time.
