Imperial Esports Opens European Headquarters in Malta
Imperial Esports has launched its European base in Malta, reinforcing the island’s growing status in esports and digital entertainment. The facility will serve as a hub for training, content creation, and international collaboration.
Minister for the Economy Silvio Schembri said the move provides high-value career opportunities for local youth and aligns with Malta Vision 2050’s goal of retaining talent. GamingMalta CEO Ivan Filletti added that the presence of global esports leaders strengthens Malta’s ecosystem and international profile.
COO Ricardo Bonetti cited Malta’s connectivity and supportive esports environment as key factors in the strategic decision. The opening further positions Malta as a hub for players, teams, and tournament organisers across Europe.
