The Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri announced that infrastructural works have begun on Triq it-Tiġrija, Nadur. This road is part of a wider project where a series of roads will be undergoing works with the aim of improving the quality and safety of roads in Gozo. The works will be carried out on the following roads: Triq it-Tigrija, Triq il-Qala, Triq San Blas, Nadur and Triq il-Qala, Triq San Ġużepp, Triq l-Isqof Mikiel Buttigieg, il-Qala.
Minister Camilleri stated that, “This project will cover an area of approximately 18,790 square metres and includes several important interventions, including the reconstruction of the road structure, new tarmac, improvement of pavements, improvements to the drainage and water systems, improvement and introduction of rainwater channels, road signs and new markings on the road surface.”
Minister Clint Camilleri concluded by thanking everyone for their cooperation and reiterating the Government’s commitment to continue investing in modern and sustainable infrastructure in Gozo, while improving the quality of life of residents and strengthening road safety.
