For another year, the day after Easter, an experience of creativity and joy was organized for children of all ages.

The ‘Enchanted Easter’ initiative introduced hundreds of girls and boys, along with their parents, to a sweet and magical world of games and adventures. They went on an interactive journey around Villa Francia in Lija where they could participate in thematic and animated activities.

Among other things, the children decorated traditional Easter sweets, enjoyed music and dancing, and took part in chocolate-related competitions.

This experience was possible with the contribution of artists and professionals from different fields who voluntarily joined the initiative and delighted everyone who attended.

‘Enchanted Easter’ was also another occasion for the sale of ‘Giolli’ figolli which the daughter of the Prime Minister and Dr Lydia Abela, Giorgia Mae, prepared in recent weeks with the help of a pastry chef who chose to help her with her project.

All proceeds from this initiative will be presented in the coming days to the Puttinu Cares organization for the just cause it supports.

In a message for the occasion, the Prime Minister’s wife Dr Lydia Abela said that ‘Enchanted Easter’ reflects the particular interest that this time of year creates among the Maltese and Gozitans, especially thanks to the local traditions that have become popular even with children.

Dr Abela mentioned how this annual activity also offers a space that fosters the imagination of our young citizens who, in her words, are an example of positive energy and dreams that come true.

The Prime Minister’s wife concluded with a word of thanks for Puttinu Cares dedication to children and families in their most vulnerable moments.

She said that this organization makes a big difference in the lives of everyone who asks for help and that is why the Maltese and Gozitan people turn to it with such strength when asked to make donations that support its work.
