The Rescue Coordination Centre has been coordinating an ongoing search operation at sea for the missing 13-year-old Polish national in Ċirkewwa, who was swept out to sea on Monday. Despite the rough weather conditions around the island, both aerial and maritime assets were actively engaged throughout the entire day in extensive search efforts.
Search operations resumed this morning at first light.
With rough seas and strong winds expected to persist during the week, RCC Malta urges the public to keep well clear of exposed coastal areas and avoid getting close to the shoreline. Do not risk your life, maintain a safe and respectful distance from the sea.
