Roderick Galdes resigns as Social Housing Minister.
In a letter that Roderick Galdes sent to Prime Minister Robert Abela, he informed him of his resignation as Minister for Social and Affordable Housing.
The Prime Minister accepted this resignation.
Roderick Galdes claims that he is resigning against the backdrop of attacks against him and his family and knows that he has done nothing wrong, but he does not want to in any way tarnish the work of the Government in favor of the Maltese and Gozitan people. It is only in these circumstances that he took the decision to resign from the post of Minister and will now ensure that he is in a position to defend his and his family’s integrity and that the whole truth comes out.

F’ittra li Roderick Galdes bagħat lill-Prim Ministru Robert Abela huwa infurmah bir-riżenja tiegħu minn Ministru għall-Akkomodazzjoni Soċjali u Affordabbli.

Roderick Galdes isostni li qed jirriżenja fl-isfond ta’ attakki kontrih u l-familja tiegħu u jaf li ma għamel xejn ħażin iżda ma jridx li b’xi mod itappan il-ħidma tal-Gvern b’risq il-poplu Malti u Għawdxi.
Huwa f’dawn iċ-ċirkostanzi biss li ħa d-deċiżjoni li jirriżenja mill-kariga ta’ Ministru u issa se jara li jkun f’pożizzjoni li jiddefendi l-integrità tiegħu u tal-familja u li l-verità kollha toħroġ.
