Lord Peter Mandelson, the UK ambassador to the US, has been sacked from his role as more damming revelations over his relationship with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein emerge.
A Downing Street statement said that revelations about his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein made the facts “materially different” from when he was first appointed.
It follows a flurry of new revelations coming out every day this week about the pair’s relationship.
