The Cost of Living Allowance, COLA, for next year will go up by €12.81 per week for pensioners and workers, the Finance Minister Clyde Caruana announced.
He said that the Budget, to be announced shortly, will also include the continuance of the government’s subsidy on fuel and energy.
The minister said that there will be no new taxes in the budget as well as no tax increases.
Minister Caruana was speaking during a Business Breakfast when he revealed some of the Budget 2024 measures.
