The counting of votes in Local Council elections begins today.
Due to the large number of localities involved, the counting will take place from today until Friday.
The localities from which votes will be counted today are: Birżebbuġa, St Julian’s, Tarxien, Iklin, Żurrieq, St Paul’s Bay, Ta’ Xbiex, Santa Venera, Għajnsielem, Mellieħa, Pembroke, Żejtun, Mqabba, Qrendi, Valletta, Żebbuġ (Malta), Nadur, Marsa, Fontana, Balzan, Dingli, Għasri and Xewkija.
