Lock your car say police as theft from vehicles on increase

The police have issued a warning to drivers to lock their vehicles following an increase in thefts from cars.
𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝘁 𝘂𝗽: Always remember to lock your vehicle, even if you’ll only be away for a short time. Unlocked doors are an open invitation to thieves.
𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀: Keep your belongings out of sight or, better yet, take them with you. Don’t leave valuables like wallets, laptops, or phones in plain view.
𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘆: Choose well-lit areas to park your vehicle, preferably in a spot with high visibility. Dark, secluded areas make it easier for thieves to operate unnoticed.
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁: Be vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately (Crime Stop Number 119). Your quick action could prevent a theft from occurring.
