A series of strikes in May by staff at Heathrow Airport are set to affect many airlines and their operations, KM Malta included, Sky News reports.
The strikes, firefighters, airport security and passenger services, will take place on:

Saturday 11 May
Sunday 12 May
Monday 13 May
The workers union, UNITE, says the strike is over pending job cuts, which the union claims would seriously affect the security and safety of operations at the airport.
Border Force officers are to strike on
Monday 29 April
Tuesday 30 April
Wednesday 1 May
Thursday 2 May.
They fear job losses in a new work roster system.
