The Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri launched the fifth edition of the festival ‘Science in the Citadel’ which will be staged in the Cittadella on Sunday 28 April, between 10am and 6pm.
This festival, free of charge and aimed at the whole family, has established itself as an annual event in the calendar of activities organized by the Ministry for Gozo and Planning which, like other events, is attracting a large number of visitors to the Citadel in order to participate in this festival of science and technology.
“Science in the Citadel which aims to promote the education and involvement of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) among the public, is increasingly becoming more popular and attract more visitors. Such activities bring us closer to the technological and scientific world which now, more than ever, are of importance in our daily lives,” repeated Minister Camilleri.
Visitors will be able to participate in interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and demonstrations showcasing the latest scientific research and technological innovations. The event that is welcoming participants from every sphere of science will also be offering workshops, a treasure hunt with a scientific and cultural impact, meetings with researchers and industry experts.
Minister Clint Camilleri concluded by encouraging everyone to attend this very popular festival of science and technology for another year.
