Nationalist Party MP David Thake has resigned from the Shadow Cabinet in the wake of revelations in Maltatoday that another company owned by him owes more than half a million euros in unpaid taxes.
Last week he asked the Standards Commissioner to investigate any breach of ethics after it was reported that his telecoms company Vanilla owed more than 270,000 euros in VAT.
