Malta FA President Bjorn Vassallo visited the U21 practice session on Tuesday morning ahead of UEFA European Championship qualifier with Kazakhstan on Thursday 6pm at the Tony Bezzina Stadium.

Malta FA President Bjorn Vassallo – “No matter how difficult it is at this level, always push yourselves to the limit. Regardless of playing Kazakhstan or any other nation, expect nothing but tough matches, and that is why what you do in training is crucially important, as it will give you the strength to achieve more on the pitch.

This is your stage and its a huge opportunity at U21 level to only develop into better football players but also to showcase your potential to eventually earn your spot in the senior squad.

Despite four defeats, progress has been noticed match after match, so I wish you all, players and staff, the very  best to maximize your chances come Thursday against Kazakhstan.”
