A 16-year-old cyclist from Għarb, Gozo, was taken to hospital on Friday after colliding with a car door.
According to police, the youth was riding his bike along Triq Fortunato Mizzi in Rabat, Gozo, when a car door opened and he crashed into it.
The accident happened at 10.30 on Friday morning.
The youth was taken to Gozo General Hospital with injuries described as serious.
