Malta Women aiming to extend positive start to Nations League when they play Andorra tonight

As the Women National Team prepare to face Andorra tonight, WNT Head coach Manuela Tesse has described the match as a tough one especially because Malta will face Andorra again on Tuesday on away soil.  The WNT is currently on the top spot of the group with 6 points out of two matches played.  Tesse hopes that the players will be able to dictate play tonight, repeating the positive performance and result of their last outing.

Tesse has already affected a couple of changes in this window’s call up, as she believes in giving national team duty opportunities to players who are performing well in the domestic league at the moment.  With the national team travelling to Andorra on Saturday, she does not exclude any necessary changes the team might have to make in preparation for the away match.

As the WNT face Andorra this evening at the Centenary Stadium, Tesse has repeated the importance of playing on home soil in front of a good number of spectators who will help boost and motivate the players.
