PM upbeat on next months Budget

Prime Minister Robert Abela said that the 30 October budget will be a budget that will provide support for workers, pensioners, businesses and young people.

The prime minister said the government will keep energy prices stable so that people do not face increases in electricity and water charges.

Speaking in Mellieha, he also touched on reforms in education on studies and research.

On transport he said the government will continue to strive for better discipline on our roads.

Regarding foreign workers he said the government wanted to see quality workers coming to Malta.

Towns and villages are the heart of the island and he wants to see more regeneration that respects the identity of these villages and towns.
