Malta National Teams Head Coach Michele Marcolini has announced a 31-man squad ahead of the upcoming international friendly match against Gibraltar and the Euro 2024 Qualifier against North Macedonia, six days later. The game against Gibraltar will be played on Wednesday 6th September (kick-off 8pm) and the one against North Macedonia will be played on Tuesday 12th September (kick-off 8:45pm). Both games will be played at the Ta’ Qali National Stadium.
The selected 31-man squad reflects both familiar faces and promising newcomers. This iteration of the squad introduces two new faces: Jake Vassallo and Kurt Zammit. Born in 2004, Vassallo secures his place as the youngest member of the team. His recent participation in the UEFA Under 19 tournament as part of the Malta Under 19 team has undoubtedly contributed to his inclusion.
