Six children and two teachers who were trapped in a chairlift dangling 274m (900ft) over a canyon in Pakistan have been rescued in a daring night time operation.
As night fell and helicopters could not operate, rescuers used special rigs to pull themselves along the one remaining cable to reach the cable-car.
One by one, they successfully managed to bring the children and teachers to safety.
