Britain’s travel chaos could get even worse today as the UK and France continue to argue over who is to blame for the massive delays.

British and French authorities are blaming each other for the lengthy delays with drivers waiting up to five hours to get through security checksWith airports and airlines struggling to get back to normal after the Covid pandemic, holidaymakers were turning to cross-channel ferries to travel abroad.

A shortage of staff at French checkpoints is the reason for the delays according to British authorities, French authorities say the delays are a result of Brexit.

Whatever the reason, it only means more headaches and long delays for travel weary holiday-makers.
