The Malta national team will be playing a friendly match against Gibraltar on Wednesday 6th September at the National Stadium, kick-off at 20:00.
The match will serve as preparation for the European Qualifier against North Macedonia on the 12th September 2023 at the National Stadium, kick-off 20:45).
Malta and Gibraltar met twice in friendly matches. On June 4, 2014, Gibraltar registered its first ever win in an international match defeating Malta 1-0 at the Estadio Algarve in Faro, Portugal while on October 7, 2020, Malta registered a 2-0 win at the National Stadium.
