French Air Force has confirmed its participation in this year’s edition showcasing the TBM700 aircraft in the static line-up during the event.
In 1990 the TBM 700 was the first certified high performance pressurized single-engine turboprop. The original model (TBM 700A) was followed by the B model, featuring a large access door to allow easy passenger and baggage loading, as well as newly designed seats to improve comfort. The French have been the only military customer for the TBM700 being operated by both the Air Force and the Army. Both branches of the French military operate the type as VIP and utility transport aircraft and have a total fleet of 23 aircraft.
