17 anglers met at 6.00 in the morning at Kalkara for the second out of three matches in the KSFA Float Fishing League.
The clear winner was Alex Genovese , whose catch of 1.9 kgs of Mullet was almost three times the catch of second placed Carmel Quatrocchi with 0.69 7kgs. Kevin Cassar followed closely in 3rd place with a catch of 0.63kgs.
The three fishermen were rewarded with trophies and vouchers that can be redeemed at AnglernThinkfish, the main sponsor.
Fish smaller than 12 centimeters were not considered and were immediately returned to the sea, while after weighing, all the fish were released back into the sea.
Next match will be Mullet Match No. 1 to be held on Sunday 9th July.
