Everything is ready for the musical concert “The Russell Crowe’s Indoor Garden Party” to be held tomorrow evening in St. George Square, Valletta.
This event will see the return of international artist Russell Crowe and his musical band featuring The Gentlemen Barbers, Janet Devlin, Lorraine O’Reilly and local artists Ivan Grech, Ira Losco and Beth.
The story of Russell Crowe in Malta saw its beginning in the nineties when he played the main role of Maximus Decimus Meridius in the international film Gladiator. These details were announced in a news conference by the Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo in the presence of Russell Crowe, the Commissioner of Films Johann Grech and the CEO of the Malta Tourism Authority Carlo Micallef.
Minister Bartolo pointed out that this event is a clear demonstration of how much our country is offering more attractions for tourists and even the people in general in Valletta. “Our goal remains that of continuing to offer a quality experience. The fact that we have a world-renowned person like Russell Crowe in our country is a clear testimony of how much we believe that our tourist product should be incorporated with the best possible resources,” continued Minister Bartolo.
He concluded by saying that from the first indications it seems that this summer will be very positive for the tourist sector. This is indicated by the bookings that have already been made both with the airlines and also with the hospitality establishments.
