The latest ship to join the AFM, P71, was inaugurated on Wednesday by Interior Minister Byron Camilleri.
With an investment of €53 million, including significant funding from the EU, P71 carries a crew of up to 60 personnel. It is equipped with a helicopter deck and will strengthen the maritime squadron of the Armed Forces and will be patrolling the Maltese coast.
