The Government of Malta salutes the memory of Queen Elizabeth the Second

During her seventy years of service, Queen Elizabeth II attracted the admiration of many around the world, not least in Malta, the country with which she had a special bond because she lived in it and visited it several times times.

Queen Elizabeth the Second is also known for the sense of duty with which she always served the important role she played.

Queen Elizabeth II also made a very important contribution to the Commonwealth, which under her leadership evolved into a dynamic organization that promotes democracy, diversity and where peoples come together.
