Changes in Premier League fixtures

Following the historic qualification by Hamrun Spartans for the play-off round of the UEFA Europa Conference League, the Malta Football Association was forced to make a number of changes to the fixtures in programme for match-days 1 and 2.

In match-day 1, on Friday 19, Birkirkara vs Sirens was shifted to the Centenary Stadium while Balzan vs Zebbug will now kick-off at 20:45. Floriana vs Pieta’ and Mosta vs Gudja will be played at the Tony Bezzina Stadium and the Centenary Stadium respectively on Saturday 20 while Valletta vs Hibernians was shifted to Sunday 21 at the Tony Bezzina Stadium. Hamrun vs Marsaxlokk will be played on Wednesday September 7.

In match day 2, Hamrun vs Hibernians was postponed to Sunday 28 while Gudja vs Gzira will now be played at the Centenary Stadium and Pieta’ vs Valletta will kick-off at 20:45 on Friday 26.
