Malta were at the receiving end of a 7-1 bashing by Spain in their UEFA U21 Championship match.
A harsh score-line indeed but remember, this is Spain. A golden moment however for Malta was a late spectacular goal by Valletta’s Andrea Zammit, his long range shot from the middle of the pitch soaring over the Spanish keeper and earning deserved applause from the Spanish supporters.
