Malta and Cuba sign bilateral agreement on healthcare and medical science

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health Chris Fearne and Cuban Minister of Public Health José Angel Portal Miranda have signed an agreement that includes various opportunities for collaboration between the two countries in various areas related to the field of health. -health. The agreement was signed during a bilateral meeting between the two countries at the 75th edition of the World Health Assembly meeting in Geneva.

Areas of cooperation include research and exchange of information and best practices, collaboration in primary care systems in the fields of pharmacy and biotechnology, training of professionals in specialized fields and exchange of information. specialists among other fields related to healthcare and medical science.

The Maltese Deputy Prime Minister stressed that this agreement is the beginning of a medical collaboration program between Malta and Cuba, and hoped that the two countries would mutually benefit from the shared information.
