Elliot Paul Busuttil aged 38 and from Attard was arraigned in Court on Friday afternoon charged with the homicide of 62-year-old Mario Farrugia from Pembroke.
Busuttil is already facing an attempted murder charge dating to 2020 when he was accused of trying to kill a man and steal his money at Ta’Qali.
Mario Farrugia was found dead in his car in Qormi last Tuesday, having been reported missing since 28 March.
Three other people were also arrested in connection with the murder of Farrugia.
