Justice and Governance Minister Edward Zammit Lewis presented the warrants to 13 new lawyers.
Minister Zammit Lewis congratulated the new lawyers while stressing that it is their duty to guarantee access to justice and good legal representation to every citizen. He also said that they should carry out their duties seriously and with full respect for all the country’s constitution, laws and regulations.
Also present at the ceremony were State Attorney Dr. Chris Soler, the President of the Bar Association Dr. Louis Degabriele, the Chief Executive of the Court Services Agency Eunice Grech Fiorini, and Deputy Head of the Court Services Agency Vanessa Grech.
