Qala Local Council presented an objection to the application to sanction works being carried out under appeal.
The Mayor said ‘As a Council we expect that some type of support from the authorities and not allow works to be carried out while under appeal. The Council shall continue with its fight and will not give up to stop these massive permits that destroy our locality. We feel it is unjust that an appeal takes so long whilst works are continuing. Obviously the Tribunal shall find it difficult to restore back these developments . This is not acceptable’.
