As the vaccine for COVID-19 has protected us over the past months, now the booster will be protecting us over the coming months, said Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Chris Fearne, who today took the booster dose of the vaccine at the Marsaxlokk Auberge, together with the Opposition Health Spokesperson Stephen Spiteri.
The Deputy Prime Minister urged the Maltese and Gozitan people to once again respond to the call of the Ministry of Health and accept the invitation to take the booster. He said that as it has been shown in our own country, the vaccine works and is the best weapon against this virus.
The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the health workers who have worked and are still working to fight this pandemic together.
He also thanked the Opposition Health Spokesperson for joining him.
