Surely a crowd-pleaser and fan favourite, the Red Arrows are back to grace Maltese skies and entertain spectators! With Avalon, Australia, having to cancel their airshow, a golden opportunity was presented and both Malta and the Red Arrows worked in tandem to have the Royal Air Force aerobatic team in Malta one more time.
Based at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire, the Red Arrows had flown almost 5,000 displays in 57 countries, by the beginning of 2021 — the team’s 57th season. This will be the Reds’ 9th visit to our island, having last performed back in 2014. It is always an honour to host the Red Arrows at our show!

Flying distinctive Hawk fast-jets, the team is made up of pilots, engineers and essential support staff with frontline, operational experience. Together, they demonstrate the excellence and capabilities of the Royal Air Force and the Service’s
skilled, talented people.
