Malta International Airshow 2021

The 26th edition of the Malta International Airshow will be held on September 25 and 26.

The announcement was made this morning at the National Aquarium in Qawra at a press conference addressed by the President of the Malta Aviation Society Joe Ciliberti, Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo and Parliamentary Secretary Alex Muscat.

Joe Ciliberti, said that the 26th edition was very challenging not least due to the pandemic.

Quite a number of countries have been invited to take part and include air forces from Belgian, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the UK and Nato.

The flying display will take place over the sea at Qawra with a static display at No4 Park, Luqa.

Minister of Tourism Clayton Bartolo said that the hospitality sector as a whole will benefit from this activity.

“Despite the fact that these activities greatly help local tourism, I firmly believe that this activity goes beyond that. Undoubtedly it is a positive mark that our country is on the way back to normal, ” he said.
