Social agreement of more than 2 million euros with Nazareth Foundation

Minister for Inclusion and Social Wellbeing Julia Farrugia Portelli and President Emeritus Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca preside over PSP agreements with Fondazzjoni Nazareth
The government, through the Ministry of Inclusion and Quality of Life and Support Agency, has signed a social agreement with the Nazareth Foundation amounting to more than € 2 million - precisely € 2,034,428. This investment, which is € 624,428 more than the initial agreement, will cover 29 beds for people with some form of disability. The service will be provided by three houses owned by the Nazareth Foundation in Zejtun - Nazareth House, Archpriest Degabriele House and Mother Teresa House.


The Foundation promotes the various skills of the residents in its homes by bringing them daily to its resident workshop to, among other things, learn to work handicrafts, read and write.

 The Minister for Inclusion and Quality of Life Julia Farrugia Portelli attended the signing of the agreement and described it as “a confirmation of the determination and the commitment of the government to continue to help and assist people with disabilities. It is an agreement through which the government is recognizing and further strengthening its trust and investment in the service provided by the Nazareth Foundation and further enhancing the collaboration between Aġenzija Sapport and Fondazione Nazareth. ”
