The latest Maltatoday survey puts Labour leader and Prime Minister Robert Abela way ahead of the Opposition and Nationalist Leader Bernard Grech with the gap continuing to widen.
Across almost all of Malta and Gozo Robert Abela is the clear favourite with people and even in what might be considered strong Nationalist areas, he is level or even ahead of Bernard Grech.
Robert Abela’s strong showing makes him more popular than the Labour Party while for Bernard Grech, a worry is the survey shows him less popular than the Nationalist Party.
