Late goals dent Hibs Champions League hopes

Two late second half goals by Rauno Sappinen dented ten-men Hibernians ambitions of holding FC Flora Tallinn to at least a draw in the first leg of their Champions League qualifier.

For more than an hour Hibs held their hosts at bay but after Raphael was sent off after picking up a second yellow card, Tallinn upped their attacks with Sappinen unmarked in the box heading them in front just minutes after the Hibs player was sent off.

Sappinen again took advantage of slack marking to fire home from close range in the last minute to give Tallinn a handy 2 goal advantage going into the return leg in Malta on July 13.
