No request for pardon received: Office of State Advocat

The Office of the State Advocate refers to various articles, published both online and in the written press, claiming that an individual has written to the State Advocate requesting a pardon.

The Office of the State Advocate reiterates, for the record, that by virtue of the Constitution, the matter does not fall within its remit. In fact, contrary to what was claimed in the media, no letter containing such request was received by the Office of the State Advocate.
